DonTre’ Murphy
At an early age DonTre’ Murphy has always loved music and has a heart for people. since he was seven years old he has been a musician. He started as a piano player for his local church in Claremore Oklahoma because there were no musicians at the time. He spent years studying himself on how to better sharpen his gift and with no personal training or lesson (by Gods grace) he was able to grow as a musician. He later was introduced to his mentor in the music industry at the age of thirteen and he showed him the basics of music production. He then fell in love with producing music. DonTre’ since then has grown in the area of music production, business, and has an ear for a “different” sound. Coming from the state and town of Claremore Oklahoma (that isn’t known for music) he was determined to create an avenue that put his state and city on the map. So he began to blueprint the idea of what is now “Remnant Records”. After years of Growing in knowledge of the industry from a business, musical, and production standpoint he began to train those close to him because he knew it would take a team of dedicated people to get to fulfill his vision. DonTre’ Is determined to “Give opportunity where others haven’t. When asked what that meant DonTre’ Said,
“If I would have gotten the opportunity and someone would have taken a chance on my siblings and I, we would have flipped this city upside-down, so that’s what I plan to do, invest time and build others up to accomplish their dreams”
DonTre’ Believes that through speaking true values (in music, Podcasts, and the remnant families lifestyle) the kingdom of God will be advanced here on earth. When asked how he would go about working with non believers DonTre’ said,
“You don’t have to be a believer right away, and it’s not mandatory for you to believe in our beliefs to work with us. I understand how the church has distorted the image and values of the kingdom. Come as you are flaws and all, all it takes is a little taste of REAL to build lives with true pure values”
This is the culture of Remnant Records and what will take them and anyone they work with to the next level of their career.
